4 days private tour Marrakech to Merzouga

1st Day : Marrakech – High Atlas – Telouat Kasbah – Ait Ben Haddou – Ounila Valley – Ouarzazate 

Departure at 8:30 am from the morning of your accommodation in Marrakech, we take a 4×4 private vehicle, we will deriger to Ouarzazate through the High Atlas. In our way, we will see the port of Tizi Ntichka, that. with 2.260m is the highest point of our country. you will enjoy the beautiful landscapes from the viewpoints as well as you will make a few stops to take pictures of the Berber villages. Then we will take a small road that leads to the Kasbah of Telouat. After visiting the kasbah, you will have the opportunity to enjoy typical cuisine of the city.

 in the afternoon, we will continue our 4 days private tour Marrakech to Merzouga through the valley of Ounila, where you can see small Berber villages and families who live in mud houses lost in the mountains, to reach the ksar (fortified village) of Ait Ben Haddou where we will visit the famous Kasbah. (declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1986). Many famous films have been shot in this spectacular stage, including Gladiator, Obelix, The Mummy, The Jewel of the Nile, Sahara with Penélope Cruz … etc.

Then we will go to Ouarzazate, nicknamed “the door of the desert”.

We propose a dinner at the hotel where we will spend the night.

2nd Day : Ouarzazate – Draa Valley – Merzouga Desert – Camel ride and night in the Berber tent

After a delicious breakfast, we will go to the Drâa Valley, where you will see one of the longest rivers in Morocco. in the way, we make a few stops to take some pictures and admire the view of the spectacular kasbahs and Berber villages that dot the road, as well as the beauties of the Draa Valley.

we propose for you a lunch in Nkob or Alnif, then, after two hours of road, we will reach the marvelous dunes of Merzouga. “Desert of powdery sand dunes”. We will change our motorized means of transport for an animal-drawn vehicle that will travel to the heart of the desert. When we arrive at the camp, we settle in the tents, tents in camel hair, similar to those used by nomadic families. Dinner and overnight under the Berber tent under a beautiful starry sky.

3rd Day : Merzouga Desert – Rissani Market – Erfoud Fossil’s – Todra Gorges – Dadés Valley

If you are in the middle of the desert, getting up early is a “must” to contemplate the most spectacular sunrise ever seen at the top of a dune near the camp and enjoy this scenery Then we return to Merzouga on camels. After a delicious breakfast, we leave the desert to go to Rissani where we visit the market place (days of market: Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday). 

Then, we continue the road to Erfoud where we will be able to visit the fossilized marble factories before starting our way to Touroug and Palmeraies of Tinjdad. The gorges of Todra. The course of the river dug into a canyon on a cliff, because of its beauty and its rock faces popular with climbers.

You have free time for this wonderful place.We also offer A short walk in the gorge is very desirable to better appreciate the beauty of the landscape.

In the afternoon, we continue in the Dades valley, also known as the valley of figs crossing Boumalne Dades. Then, we stop at the legs of a monkey.

4th Day : Dadés Valley – Roses Valley – Palm Groves of Skoura – High Atlas  – Marrakech

We begin this last day with a delicious breakfast, you can admire one of the most beautiful views of the Dades Valley from a strategic lookout in the mountains. here you will be able to appreciate the large number of kasbahs and the picturesque characteristics of each of them. 

Then we continue with a road point with different kasbahs of tourist interest. We suggest a few stops, enjoy the “road of a thousand kasbahs”. the valley of the roses and the big palm grove of Skoura, we will go to Ouarzazate to visit the Kasbah of Taourirt, former home of Glaoui or Marrakech Pacha. we can show you the movie studios and the cinema museum if you are interested,

Free time for lunch in town

In the afternoon, return to Marrakech by the mountain port of Tizi Ntichka with a few stops to take pictures. 

Here, we leave the lunar landscape to reach another view full of colors.
