Continue through Ouarzazate and along the famous Road of a Thousand Kasbahs.

Pass through the beautiful Rose Valley, famous for its annual Rose Festival, celebrated in late April and early May, when thousands of roses bloom, and the valley becomes especially beautiful. Outside this season, there are no roses in bloom, but visitors can still stop at local rose cooperatives and workshops to discover how traditional rose perfumes, soaps, oils, and cosmetics are produced.

Continue to Khettarat, an ancient underground irrigation system historically used to provide local farmers with water. Although now dried up, it remains an impressive historical engineering site to visit.

Later, continue toward Erfoud, famous throughout Morocco for its annual Date Festival and fossil industry. If interested, we can stop at a local fossil workshop to discover how these unique fossil products are made.

Arrive in Merzouga. In the late afternoon, enjoy unforgettable camel trekking in Merzouga across the golden Erg Chebbi dunes at sunset.

Continue through the beautiful Cedar Forest of Azrou, home to Morocco’s famous Barbary macaque monkeys and one of the country’s most important natural forests in the Middle Atlas Mountains.

Later stop in Ifrane, often called the Switzerland of Morocco because of its alpine-style architecture, clean streets, and cool climate. Enjoy time for a pleasant walk through this charming mountain town.
